Is microwaved food radioactive or less healthy?
No. Microwaves are the same kind of wave as radio — far too weak to change atoms or leave anything behind. Nutritionally, quick microwave cooking often preserves vitamins better than long boiling, because less heat-time and less water are involved.
Why can't I put metal in a microwave?
